Monol academy is always happy to welcome new and eager English learners! Near the end of March, new students of term 186A are getting themselves settled into the academy. This term’s batch is a mix of different nationalities from Japan, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia. For the summer season, the school’s schedule is jam-packed.

Diverse Activities

Monol’s Weekend trips are something the students can look forward to every two weeks. After spending their weekdays hitting the books and attending classes, the academy gives students an opportunity to travel and explore. These trips introduce students to different places, cultures, and even interests while at the same time helping them unwind.

General ESL

I have enrolled in an ESL Course that has group classes (4 hours) and one-on-one classes (3 hours) for a total of 7 hours. I was still worried when I arrived in Baguio but I would like to improve my English in a short period of time.

What's New red cross

Donate blood and save a life! On the 11th and 12th of March, Monol employees and students had the chance to become someone’s hero by participating in the bloodletting program. The program, conducted by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Baguio Chapter, is part of the National Blood services of the country. Their aim is to provide safe and quality blood supply to those in need.

As Friday was approaching, our teacher recommended watching the Flower Festival Parade on the weekend to enjoy and experience the local customs. Our teacher suggested that we leave the academy and go to town early. Otherwise, we would have trouble going anywhere because of closed roads and traffic. 

General ESL General

The course I am enrolled in according to my level is the Basic Conversation Course (ESL) or General ESL. You may not know much about ESL so I will briefly introduce it: Monol academy has a total of 5 courses of basic conversation. For 10 semesters, I studied listening, writing, pronunciation, reading, and speaking.
