New Fitness Program Classes: Cardio Boxing, Body Toning

Monol’s Fitness program is bringing something new to the table, Cardio boxing and body toning! Through these fitness classes as well as the academy’s sports and gym facilities, Monol aims to provide students a setting as well as activities where they can focus on their health and wellness. The two new classes lean towards body conditioning and have aerobic components incorporated into them. They will be replacing the wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu classes. 

Schedule: 

17:00 – 18:00 ——– Muay Thai (Monday to Friday)

19:00 – 20:00 ——– Boxing (Monday to Friday) 

20:00 – 21:00 ——– Cardio Boxing (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

20:00 – 21:00 ——– Body Toning (Aerobics)  (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)

21:00 – 22:00 ——– Yoga (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

21:00 – 22:00 ——– Pilates (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)

  • Cardio Boxing

Cardio boxing is an exercise that combines the traditional movements of the boxing sport and the sequencing of movements usually used in aerobic routines. These boxing-inspired cardio exercises promote cardiovascular fitness and endurance. 

  • Body Toning

For body toning, it focuses on performing different sets of exercises for muscle training to create better muscle tone. Aside from helping you shape up, this also improves cardiovascular endurance as it is merged with aerobic training. 

The new classes will be available starting on Monday, August 19, 2019. For those interested, you can sign up for any classes in the Fitness Program at the SRD office.
