Monol International Successfully Hosts Bloodletting Program

A total of 29 people volunteered to donate blood during Monol International Education Institute’s bloodletting program last November 13-15.

The office of the VP for Administration and Teaching coordinated the event together with the Philippine Red Cross – Baguio City Chapter.

11 students and 18 employees helped meet the needs of 3 hospitals, Pines City Doctor’s Hospital, Saint Louis Hospital of the Sacred Heart, and Notre Dame De Chartres Hospital, which are served by the PRC Baguio Chapter.

The office of the VP for Administration and Teaching also assisted with recruiting donors, providing snacks and refreshments, and registering donors. They have also re-arranged the B3 Lounge to be used for the blood donation drive.

Free snacks were also given to the donors after their blood donation.

Teachers came to donate as well.

Monol International Education Institute understands that every community should have a part to provide adequate blood supply and meet the needs of local patients in the city of Baguio.

To give a chance to those who missed the blood drive, the PRC – Baguio Chapter announces that it will return again after 3 months to our Institution.  This would give adequate time for previous blood donors to donate again or to give chances to those who missed the event.

The Philppine Red Cross- Baguio City Chapter is always looking for healthy volunteers to donate blood.
