29 June 2015 – The Pinsao Proper Day Care was bursting with energy as 17 students from Monol visited the location. They had the opportunity to spend the day with 50 children from the Day Care. With both morning and afternoon sessions, they spent their time with simple activities. These activities included arts and crafts and a few alphabet games.
The arts and craft activity for the day was bringing depth and texture to colored pictures using yarns. It looked like a very laborious job to be making art out of yarn but it turned out good for everyone!
After the art activity, the kids had a game of guessing letters, and much later, they had a sumptuous lunch with meatballs, sweet potato chips, rice, and sago’t gulaman, a popular cold drink usually served during the summer in the Philippines filled with tapioca and jelly.
