Why do some people fail to be fluent in English?

The Best Way to Learn English

There are a lot of ways to learn English. Some enroll in short-term courses locally, some go abroad, while some take classes online. These result in varying outcomes, depending on the type of student and their effort to study and practice.

Which of these trends prove to yield better results?

Students' Corner

When it comes to the rules of the school, I think these penalties are a natural part of student life. I appreciate EOP a lot because I sometimes tend to speak Korean without knowing when it is hard to express in English.

I spent five months in Monol language school where I studied General ESL for a month and then enrolled in the IELTS course for the following four months. When I first came here, I could not even go to a restaurant because my English was so bad.

Today, I will introduce to you something important: the food here at Monol academy. The first advantage when eating here at Monol is that the food is served buffet-style for all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Here are some of the best Monol meals in my opinion.

One of the biggest changes in me over the past three months is that I no longer feel burdened when using and speaking English. I can express my thoughts in English. Sure, it is far from being very fluent but that is already a big change for me.

If you consider the quality of teachers and curriculum, I think $180 for a 45-minute class is affordable. Also, taking classes from Monday to Friday in 4 weeks helps you have good learning habits.

Monol Online Student

In terms of teaching quality, there is no difference between online and offline courses, but there is a big difference in price. I have tried other online classes in the past, but it was no good. This time with Monol, I don’t need to worry about teaching quality.

Offline and Online student

The teaching quality is amazing, and their style of doing lessons is awesome; I believe that every staff is academically and personally well-trained.

Monol Online Student

After studying at Monol, I thought about how my English proficiency increased thanks to the one-on-one lessons and repetitive daily expressions. Little by little, I was able to speak in idioms and sentences rather than words.

Choon, Korea

Offline student

I feel that in this language environment, no matter what teaching method you choose, there will always be progress. Thank you, teachers, for teaching me seriously! I really felt your patience in teaching me.

Ada, China

Offline Student

MONOL’s IELTS course has a well-established educational system when it comes to the teachers’ teaching methods and textbooks. To everyone who wants to study in the Philippines, MONOL is one of the top candidates for learning!

What's New

December 20 marks a special Christmas celebration for Monol teachers and employees. Despite the cold breeze and drizzle, the academy’s Christmas party was warm as ever as everyone was basking in the Christmas cheer together.

Proudly carrying the Monol banner, it was time to put what the students had learned to the test! For the day’s activity, they were to compete in an ‘Amazing Race’ with various challenges.

As the outreach program began, everyone was slowly getting to know each other. Both Monol teachers and students put in the effort to work together to make the kids happy. For the morning’s activity, they were set to create paper plate arts and crafts together.

Zumba is a simple yet great way to get moving. Undeniably, day to day activities like sitting in class or doing desk work can get sedentary. So, with this exercise as well as other fitness programs in Monol, the school hopes to promote an active lifestyle.

Campus Facilities

By providing quality accommodations and services, students are assured of a convenient and comfortable stay during their study program and focus solely on their academics.
