During Vigan weekend trip, the students are transported back in time when the Philippines was a colony of Spain. Here, students get to view structures built during the Spanish colonization of the Philippines. At the same time, immerse in the local culture. They get to ride the “kalesa”, a horse-drawn carriage, to visit the museums, the city’s church, and zoo. At night, they watch a spectacular fountain show.
Vigan in Ilocos Sur is considered as a UNESCO World Heritage site and in May 2015, it was recognized as one of the New7Wonders Cities.
