MONOL Academy · October 1, 2026 · Teacher’s Day at an ESL school in Baguio
A day filled with appreciation, laughter, creativity, and kindness!
Teacher’s Day at an ESL school is all about the people who make learning possible. Our teachers do much more than teach lessons: they guide, encourage, and help students grow more confident in English every day. On October 1, 2026, MONOL celebrated Teacher’s Day to thank them for their hard work, patience, and dedication.
Here’s how we celebrated this year at our school in Baguio, from thank-you gifts to a TikTok challenge and a winning pair who shared their prize with everyone.

Little Tokens, Big Appreciation
At MONOL, teachers welcome students from many different countries every day. Whether they’re explaining a difficult lesson, encouraging a shy student to speak, or simply sharing a friendly chat, they make learning a positive experience.
To say thank you, MONOL prepared special tokens for every teacher. The gifts were simple, but the message behind them was clear: Thank you for everything you do!
A Fun TikTok Challenge at Our ESL School
Who says Teacher’s Day is only about gifts? To make the day even more exciting, MONOL held a TikTok Fun Video Contest, pairing each teacher with one student.
How it worked
- Each teacher-and-student pair made a fun, creative TikTok video together
- The videos were posted on MONOL’s official Facebook and Instagram (@baguio_monol)
- The pair with the most likes won a prize from Aqua Garden Café
For some pairs, making a video came naturally. For others, it was a chance to step out of their comfort zone. Either way, it showed that learning English at MONOL goes beyond textbooks: making friends, communicating, and sharing experiences are part of the journey too.
Congratulations to Our Winners!
TikTok Fun Video Contest Winners
Teacher Donna & Student Ayman
Prize: Aqua Garden Café voucher
After the social media voting period, Teacher Donna and Student Ayman earned the most likes with their teamwork, creativity, and entertaining video. It was a well-deserved win!
A big thank-you as well to every pair who joined and to everyone who watched, liked, and shared. Every video made the celebration more special.
A Winning Prize Shared with Everyone
Here’s the best part. Instead of keeping the prize to themselves, Teacher Donna and Student Ayman used their voucher from Aqua Garden Café, our on-campus café, to treat fellow students and teachers.
What a kind-hearted gesture! It reminded everyone that celebrations mean more when they’re shared, and it’s a great example of the friendship and community MONOL values just as much as academic achievement.
Teacher’s Day at an ESL School: More Than a Celebration
From thoughtful gifts to a fun TikTok challenge and our winners’ generosity, MONOL Teacher’s Day 2026 showed what Teacher’s Day at an ESL school can really be: a day full of smiles, teamwork, and memories.
To our teachers: thank you for your patience, dedication, and commitment to helping every student reach their goals. To our students: thank you for joining in and making the day even more memorable.
