Cooler temperatures are experienced within the region and this makes the climate tolerable for most. Baguio City has a unique, highly urbanized landscape because of its geographical location and structure. The city was also known as the only hill station of the United States in Asia. With its history during the American Colonization period in the country, the majority of the city’s residents have absorbed the English language as a daily medium of communication, whether in a casual or professional sense.
On one hand, the travel experience may put off students from coming to Baguio. From the Manila airport, you need to take a bus ride to Baguio, which takes 5–6 hours depending on the traffic. But even if it takes a long ride to arrive in the City of Pines, we can assure you that it is worth the long trip.
COST OF LIVING AND EDUCATION
The cost of living in Baguio City is relatively lower than in other cities like Manila, Clark, and Cebu. Therefore, students who want to lessen their study costs may find Baguio City an ideal place to learn English. It is good to know that even if the costs are lower, you can still receive the same quality of education from expensive English schools. The only real difference is the geographical location!

There are also famous and reputable delicious dishes, instagrammable restaurants, cafes, and bars in Baguio. This means that you can always have somewhere to go when you want to destress from studying. However, there are days where you might also get bored by these daily sights. Yangbew, and buy the cheapest fruits and vegetables possible. If you want to go swimming, Asin Hot Springs is only an hour away.
